About Product

Orange essential oil comes from the Citrus X sinensis plant, whose fruits are commonly known as oranges. Oranges belong to the Rutaceae family and were first cultivated in China around 314 B.C. They have a rich history which is reflected in Chinese literature. By 1987, orange trees had become the most cultivated fruit trees worldwide.

To obtain orange essential oil, steam distillation of the dried peel is performed which results in a transparent liquid with components like a-pinene, myrcene, limonene, camphor, eugenol, terpineol, geraniol, chavicol and linalool. Because of these properties, orange essential oils can be used effectively as culinary spices or medicines. They can be used for uplifting mood and reducing depression symptoms as well as facial cleansing and better digestion. Moreover they improve dental hygiene while reducing allergies and arthritis pain.

The healing effects of this oil also include anti-carcinogenic properties along others such as antidepressant, tonic, chemo-preventive, antiseptic , cholagogue , antispasmodic , carminative , antioxidant , sedative , anti-inflammatory ,and diuretic effects .
